A word from the author

I wrote this book ultimately for my children. Going back into my own life I can now see pivotal influences that shaped my life. We are not self made individuals. We are the accumulations of the books we read, the TV we watch, and the people we know. These are our influences.

I wanted to impress upon my children, while making it fun for them, that they can never undervalue a person’s influence. A single influence can so radically change a person’s life that if he could meet himself (as Allen Grey does in the novel) without that influence, he may not only not recognize himself, but he would in all probability dislike himself intensely–both of them would.

This is the main emphasis in my book. I believe you will find the book not only enjoyable, but unique, and informative.
